My husband, Kristofer, and I spent our summers in high school volunteering at New Beginnings Care Home in San Jose, California. From the very beginning, we shared a deep passion for serving seniors and a belief that elder care should feel personal, compassionate, and rooted in genuine human connection — not institutional.
What began as volunteer work became our calling later in life.
Today, we proudly own and operate three licensed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFEs) in Placer County. As hands-on owners, we are actively involved in the daily life of our homes, ensuring that each resident receives the care, respect, and attention they deserve. We intentionally keep our homes small so we can truly know our residents — their stories, routines, preferences, and personalities.
We are also the proud parents of three beautiful children, and becoming a family has only deepened our commitment to providing a warm, nurturing environment for the seniors in our care. To us, our residents and care team members are an extension of our family, and our homes are places where dignity, kindness, and comfort come first.
Our experienced caregivers provide supervision and assistance with daily living, always with patience, compassion, and respect. We work closely with families and healthcare providers to support changing care needs, while maintaining a safe, clean, and loving home environment.
We truly love what we do, and it shows in the way our homes are run and in the relationships we build with residents and families alike.
